PROBE Night took place from 5-9pm on Friday the 27th of September 2019. This free public pop up festival showcased the diverse range of academic research by engaging and involving the public with live experiments, exclusive demonstrations, interactive workshops and much more.
The event, collaboration between Trinity and Science Gallery in partnership with British Council, is part of European Researchers’ Night which takes place in cities across the continent.  It featured a total of 50 plus events, talks and research experiments carried out by Trinity researchers, with plenty to do and see for families, students and interested people of all ages.

Fr. Tony Coote Assistant Prof. Bahman Nasseroleslami (Neurology) and his team got involved on the night by providing a tour of our research lab based in Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, while also demonstrating our EEG set up and giving information about our groundbreaking MND research. Thank you to everyone who came along and showed their support and interest in our ongoing research!
