The MND Study Day for healthcare professionals took place again on Friday 8th March 2019. The venue on this occasion was the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Organised as a platform to share the insights of the MND Clinical and Research Team from the MND Clinic and elsewhere, as well as the findings of some of our research, with health professionals from around the country, the day was once again deemed a huge success. The speakers on the day included Prof. Hardiman (Consultant Neurologist), Bernie Corr (MND Nurse Specialist), Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, Neuropsychologist as well as representatives from the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Central Remedial Clinic. Several members of the research team were also on hand to talk about their work as relevant to healthcare professionals attending on the day. Thanks to all those who attended.
